I have 10 years working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at the secondary level – hospital setting. Following this I have 5 years continuing to work in Child and Adolescent Mental Health in a community, Kaupapa Māori service.
Child protection roles both in Aotearoa and abroad.
Providing social work and creative arts therapy at a local school
Developmental aid in Angola, Africa
Medical social worker on the children’s and maternity hospital wards and special care baby unit.
Provided home-based intensive support for wahine and their whanau through pregnancy until their Tamariki turns five.
