About me:
I was born and raised in beautiful Tairawhiti, Gisborne. I moved to the Bay of Plenty with my two young boys 27 years ago and I now consider Tauranga my home. We now have three beautiful grandchildren who warm our hearts.
My husband and I love travel and in particular to explore Asia. In our spare time we enjoy mountain biking and being with our grandchildren.
I have worked in different careers and I have owned my own businesses. It was in my role as an IT Trainer that I realised it was the people that I loved to work with and there began my journey into counselling.
In my counselling practice I have worked alongside the homeless community in Tauranga, at a Kaupapa Māori community mental health clinic (Te Puna Hauora Ki Uta Ki Tai) and I have worked as a counsellor in an Intermediate School. I also have experience working alongside survivors of domestic violence. Currently I contract to “I Am Hope,” the WBOP PHO – working for Doctors and I also provide support for employment assistance program (EAP) providers. These different areas of counselling have greatly informed and enriched my practice.
Modalities:

Strength Based Therapy
