However from time to time will do family work and work with children and teens. I have a commitment to Tangata Whenua as well as an awareness of the cultural needs of other ethnic groups.

Areas of Work
- Trauma (sexual, physical, emotional neglect) - Depression
- Self esteem - Anxiety
- Stress - Grief & Loss
- Identity - Children's Issues
- Relationship Difficulties - Clinical Supervision
- Sexual Abuse Counselling (children, teens and adults) - Communication Skills
- Individual Counselling (children, teens, and adults)

Clinical Approach
I have a psychodynamic – existential approach that I use in both counselling and psychotherapy, and utilize other techniques / modalities as required for the work to progress.

What is Counselling
Client’s come to get relief and to overcome a problem(s) that are occurring in the present. Exploring the problem in the context of the person’s life (both past and present) and getting clarity about it then means strategies, actions can be identified and improved wellbeing is more likely to occur.
